The whimsy in this activity is that it can be created to your own design... as simple or as complex as you want.
1. For the base, you can use a combination of ceramic planters, a wheelbarrow, glass container, the base of a tree, a birdbath, or on top a pile of rocks.
2. Add succulents, edibles, ground creepers, pebbles, and colorful flowers to fill the planter with structure, color, and whimsy.
3. Add the extra special touches... a wooden home, small figurines, twig swings, and delicate pathways.
4. Sprinkle a little fairy dust, glitter, and wait for the magic.
Take the fun of a fairy tale, the magic of a fairy, and bring it into your life. While I can’t promise that planting a fairy garden will result in an actual fairy, it could provide you, or your kid with hours of fun, inspiration, and fantasy.
