What I thought
I was hooked from page 1. I actually giggled at the first illustration at the girl sitting on the globe. It seemed to capture the message of the book perfectly- the world was hers... and with so many places to visit, or choose to explore, I was pleased she chose The Statue of Liberty.
I love books that can capture you fully... and this one does that. The illustrations were superb, the story straightforward, and the lessons, memorable. As an adult I learned a thing or two, and my children now know a lot more about how she was built, and her importance.
5 Stars... informative, fun, and engaging for the kids.
