Did you always want to be a writer? Since I was nine years old. Before that, I wanted to be a teacher.
What inspires you to write? I find inspiration in all sorts of places, sometimes surprising ones. Or at least, they surprise me.
Do you have a daily writing routine/schedule? I usually start writing around nine thirty in the morning until eleven, then from one to three, four to around five thirty, and sometimes I write for an hour after dinner if I feel like it.
That is a great schedule. I can see how spreading it out would help create creative bursts! *making notes for myself*
What is the current Book you are promoting? Web of Light. It will be released sometime in October. The sequel, which does not yet have a title, will come out in January.
Web of Light, I LOVE the title. Can you describe your main characters for us? The book is told from five different viewpoints. Seva is the central character. She's sixteen, half human and half flyer, so she has wings. Valdor is also sixteen and a full blooded flyer. Ganamere is nineteen and a blood witch, who need to drink blood in order to work their spells. Roth is twenty-one, he's human. And Iza is eighteen, she's a Gari-Za, so she also has magic, but hers comes mostly from her own inner strength rather than outside sources like the blood witches. Although, she can borrow from other people's magic. Each of them is heir to their respective territories in the land of Solice.
Now to the fun round... a few quick fire questions. :)
Favorite Book? That is a really hard question. But I guess I would say Firestarter by Stephen King.
I know, right? With so many, it's fun to see what resonates with each person.
Favorite Author? Stephen King
Favorite Food? pepperoni pizza
Maybe I need to change this question, I always get hungry afterwards. Yum!
Favorite Sport? To play, badminton. But to watch...eh, I don't watch sports. Unless you count ice skating, which some people consider a sport and other people don't.
Favorite Quote? If we're talking quotes from famous people, then I don't have one. But my favorite quote from a book would be "I solemnly swear I am up to no good." Yes, I am a Potterhead.
Say it with pride ;)
Favorite Car/Truck? 1957 Chevy Bel-Air. I want one that's powder puff blue with white wall tires and white leather interior.
